Runs!

Every time i go out for a run I will update this page...

Run 8 Sunday 29th May - (3miles long)

I headed out with the intention of running 5 miles but had a horrendous pain in my left foot, I limped on for the first 2 and half mile, but had to stop and call my mum to get me to come pick me up! agony!

Run 7 Saturday 19th May - (supposed to be rest day)

My phone crashed half way round this run so I don't have any statistics, you will just have to trust me that is was my fasted run to date!

Run 6 Tuesday 15th May - (3miles supposed to be rest day)

Distance: 3.21 miles
Time: 26:028
Pace: 8:14 mins/mile

I ran 3.2 miles in 26min (8.1min/mile)  I ran the first mile a 7.2min/mile the third a 9min/mile and the third a 8.3min mile then really slowed down for the last 0.2 miles. That is my quickest run yet and i felt as solid as a rock, really enjoyed it!

Run 5 Monday 14th May - (3 miles short)

Distance: 3.37 miles
Time: 31:04
Pace: 9:12 mins/mile

Craigy boy kindly offered to come on this run with me, Im glad he did to be honest! He kept me going when things got tough. He didn't have to say anything, it was just the fact he was there, and I'm a bloke, I didn't want to look like a fanny so I cracked on! Over all really enjoyed it, its beautiful up there, it also helped that it was a lovely sunny evening.

To be fair apart from going up the hill at about mile 2 i found it alright had a smile on my face most of the time and felt like I could have kept going when we got back to the car. BRING IT ON!

Run 4 Friday 11th May - (2miles short)

Distance: 2.52 miles
Time: 22:33
Pace: 8:56 mins/mile

This was my best run yet, i really enjoyed it, a little bit of tightness in my calves but didn't even think about stopping even felt like I could have kept going :) I am defiantly ready to increase my distance, things are improving!!! Run 3 Wednesday 9th May - (2 miles short)

Distance: 2.20 miles
Time: 19:10
Pace: 8:42 mins/mile

Felt like shit when I got home from work, drained and runny nose, headed out anyway in the pissing rain, blasted the first mile and a half, last half a mile was f**king agony, my calfs were killing I kept going and got in to bed and cried!

Run 2 Tuesday 8th May - (2 miles supposed to be rest day)

Distance: 2.19 miles
Time: 18:45
Pace: 8:32 mins/mile

This run is not actually on the schedule but i couldn't resist felt a lot baetter my helps hurt like hell mainly my shins and ankles, I thought id given myself shin splints but i haven't so its all good!

Run 1 Monday 7th May - (2 miles short)

Distance: 2.24 miles
Time: 22:22
Pace: 9:58 mins/mile

I ran 2.24 miles is 22:22 it was really really tough, it made me realise what a huge task i have in front of me!
