Training is going really well still and I am not down to 13 Stone 12 which is brill, here is my first comparison pic for you...
I took the first picture on the left on the 7th of May before I started my training and the second I took on the 7th June last week.
Im quite pleased for my first month, running is becoming easier too I am now running between 6 and 8 miles avery time I go out and I am defiantly going to up the stakes a bit with my training and start a different program from week 18, so up until that point I am just running as far and as quick as possible to improve my fitness and get my weight down.
I am back on the booze as I previously wrote, but only on a weekend. One thing i have found is very important is balance, you have to be happy in your training, days off are as important as the training days and letting your hair down and enjoying yourself are part of that, and I f**king love beer!
I am please with the weight loss the most so far I feel 100% happier about myself, I know it sounds silly but as a fairly confident bloke it was strange for me constantly worrying about what I looked like in public, breathing in all the time and pulling my T-shirt down! It was something that consumed my life ... what a load of bollocks!
I personally hate all that shit, the fact that people feel they have to have expensive clothes and eat nothing to look good. I would always say that I don't give a shit what people think about the way I look and dress, generally I don't give a shit what people think of me full stop.
Its shit the pressure people feel to look good and be the right shape and its something I hate to think that I am conforming too, but that isn't why I set out to do with it was a health and wellbeing thing and there are no two ways about it I do feel a lot happier.
Im rambling now and struggling to make my point, but please take from it what you will...
In sugar bags here is what I have lost.
peace

Really great blog about your journey mate. I'm actually looking into entering the NYC marathon for 2013 and looking on the website makes it all so confusing. I was just wondering if you could let me know how you got your place in the marathon and what company you went with (I'm from England myself). Was it easy? I'm finding it all a bit confusing. I cant apply for 2013 until September this year but I want to get a head start on the whole process.. any advice would be brill mate..
